Kari, and her friends, made a bad mistake.

Go Back

Kari texted her four closest friends who were there that night because what they did was for fun only, plus they were bored. All of them agreed to assist that night, and they succeeded.

Everything was fine... for a while.

Now, two weeks later, one by one, each friend arrived at Kari's home wearing solemn faces, and Kari's concern must have shown also because all the girls kept their eyes on her.

"Alright," Kari said. "Thanks for coming, guys. We know what we have to do. We made a mistake that night, and we have to send it back."

"Do you know how to do that," Tangy's squeaking voice asked.

Kari hiked her shoulders, then said, "I don't know, but I have to do something. Things are getting serious now."

The girls marched into Kari's home office to fine it very dark with everything situated exactly the way it was that night. Each girl took their assigned seat on the floor around the flickering flame of a white candle. Then each girl lit the white candles sitting next to them.

Kari started. "We all know we conjured this thing, but it's starting to creep me out. I want it gone, and I'm going to need your help." She began chanting with her friends joining in.

The room became cold, and Kari felt it's presence. "I know you're here, but we don't want you here. You're not welcome here. Leave me, and leave this house now." Her friends chanted those same words as candle flames whipsawed furiously. Then all eyes focused on the mist above the central candle and watched it morph into a small vortex before disappearing. The girl's flames became steady, and Kari knew the spirit they'd released that night was gone.
