Apple Pie

For people who love apple pie or haven't tried it. People who don't, hopefully you will.

Apple pie is yummy,
it warms my tummy.
So many layers of goodness,
different each bite.
Textural difference isn't always a crime.
Don't let any piece out of my sight, it's mine,
and oh so sublime.
Candied apples, bitter and sweet,
the best thing you could ever eat.
Spices that open up every sense,
apple pie really is evidence,
that the best inventors of the world,
didn't all make big and extravagant things,
but some things simple that made the screens.
We need to make a holiday for apple pie,
it's really so delicious and beautiful, I will not lie,
I might cry.
Yes, pumpkin and banana are good to, but the only
difference, they don't have the right amount of goo.
So please give apple pie a good rep, and
put some pep in your step.
Whoever made apple pie, I am forever grateful for,
can't wait to see if any new pies come in store.
Even McDonald's carries, apple pie pockets,
they're so sweet, cheap and delicious,
so good it will pop your eyes out of their sockets.
They're a comfort desert for sure, you can eat it any time of the year.
It includes fresh cut apples, grown from the summer, baked into
the middle, it is no riddle. It's all there, and can help you repair,
any despair you may be feeling.
Feel the warmth from the oven heat your ear, and get into that cozy feeling.
If you want that extra touch, add some vanilla ice cream,
once your done eating it, you'll be so happy and energized,
you'll wanna scream.
If you live with someone who's strict on you having sugar,
tell them it also includes fiber, then you'll be the winner,
but please, don't, whatever you do, don't spoil your dinner.
I don't feel guilty for eating what I like, so neither should you,
but I promise, this desert, it's guaranteed no dislikes.
So take a bite and enjoy the thrill.
Apple pie is better made from home,
and will save you from paying a big bill.
Maybe you'll sleep like a baby,
maybe you won't
but this but don't miss out on it,
just don't.
