Some thoughts on living and working in France and conversations with my sheep!

This is a journal of the present but will also include reflections on the past 15 years which is the time I have been living in France.I hope it will generally be upbeat and amusing but as it is real life there will be some sad times aswell.I dont know yet how to include WritingML tags so my Journal will be unspiced for the time being! This is the first item I have posted in my Portfolio so I hope it will get better as I become more relaxed.

Those are the prettiest turkeys I've ever seen. Are they raised on the sheep farm?

Did you have a good time seeing your family in England? It must be hard to be so far away.

Have a very merry Christmas, be safe and enjoy being with family. I love the picture.... aawwwwwww poor turkeys !! But I bet they sure tasted good !!!

Hope you can continue on with improving your sleep, gain some strength and get in here and blog more often. I miss reading it.

RIP Turkeys - I always think it such a shame humans aren't herbivores.

I once went the whole month of June without sleeping more than a couple hours each night. I don’t know what finally broke the cycle, but I was so glad to get out of it.

I hope you’re seeing some results by now, and are more rested.

Normally acupunture will work to get the magnetic levels in the body back into alignment. Your therapists didn't try the needles? My guess is there is hidden stress concerning the move.

... as long as you occasionally moan here. I do check in but I've been overwhelmed this past month. My bronchitis is getting better and my spirits are okay today. Some days that is as good as it gets. Get thee well.

Naively, this city boy says,
"I thought that pigs could be domesticated and if they squealed it would be for joy. Oops."

Horror ! "No, you're kidding. He can't be that dumb!!!"

"Yes I can. But I like learning and I' ve learned a lot today reading your blog."

I'm not sure that I could raise an animal from birth, watch it grow up and learn about its foibles and then kill it for nourishment. People all over the world do it, but how do you get around the attachment thing? They're all so cute when they're young.
