Nicely done!
I can see how crutches can be demons. When I had to, after foot surgery, I opted for a cane. Luckily, I healed fast.

I hate crutches, they make my armpits and shoulders both hurt. And I've almost fell down the stairs trying to navigate with them more than once.

That's so funny. It's also true of cats. My older cat won't climb up but now that our kitten does, he's been climbing and exploring places he never did before. Sometimes they just need the right incentive.

People here in the United States were warned about climate change years ago. Our Vice President in 1993, Al Gore, was an environmentalist. He talked incessantly about the issue warning something needed to be done to avoid destroying our planet. People laughed at him denying there was any such problem. He was right, they were wrong. I need to answer this prompt if I have time today. Have a good one!

59 years is incredible.

I can't imagine a love that intense either. And I'm very much in love with my husband. It's my second marriage, we've been together 20 years and married 16 years. If I had foolishly stayed in my first marriage it would have been 50 years. I left him before our 30th.

I've read a lot of his sonnets and wondered the same thing about the woman. I didn't realize there were 100 of them Kåre Enga in Udon Thani

that's a lot of mushy stuff.

There are different types of love. Her in the western colony we obsess with romantic/sexual love. The sex, however, must never be directly shown; we're cultural prudes.

Altitude

PROMPT July 14th

If you won a free trip to any foreign country, all expenses paid in your own private jet and had the time to go (and there were no travel restrictions due to a global pandemic *Pthb*), what is the first foreign country you would visit? Who would you bring with you? What would you spend your time doing?

There are a couple of places I’d like to go to. On reflection I can now see now they both are at a very high altitude. I really love heights, fresh clean air and solitude.
The first choice would be Bhutan, a Buddhist country. There they measure their Gross Domestic Product in happiness!
The next place is somewhere I saw on a programme on television the other night. It was a railway station on a line that goes on the inside of the north face of the Eiger. What an amazing journey! It would be no good taking my husband, he hates heights. I think I’d be fine on my own actually. When the engineers were digging out the line they needed some place to get rid of all the rocks and soil etc. The presenter of the program was taken to the spot where the rubble was thrown down the mountain. Oh My God, the view from there was amazing. I want to go!
