Thanks for the advice everyone. I might try writing some short fiction, perhaps even a few vignettes just to get the writing juices flowing again.

I also need to settle on a single concept. Currently I have loads of ideas all floating around demanding individual attention. If I focus on one that should help. All I know is that I want to wrote science fiction, perhaps with a fantasy twist.

Has anyone tried forced writing? The idea is that you sit down for 15 minutes and force yourself to write non-stop. I've always thought it sounded a bad idea, but I suppose it could work.
