...and I'm not sure where the outlining came from. I don't think I mentioned that as a specific technique. Three Acts structure, beginning, middle (muddle), end and my author's LOCK system for writing, but also for evaluating other's writing, Lead, Objective, Conflict, and Knock-out ending, and finally the idea of two one-way doors in support of the three acts where the Lead is forced into the middle and finally into the last battle through these one-way doors that irrevocably push them out of their safe land, into the dark land of conflict, and finally to the last battle of the resolution of the Objective, the main story question, the McGuffin.

At some point I'm going to try some outlining, maybe, I'm not to that point yet.

PS. I think some of these tools, even outlining, are going to be useful on revision of a 1st and/or 2nd draft. But first, a first draft.
