My first piece of the day and a delightful one at that.Your muse ,to say the least is provokingly intriguing and I hope she stays around from now on.
I must admit they are elusive at times but with this little piece you can tell she is wafting her purple dressing gown to and fro.

A simple philosophy of life is when learned an open doorway to living a full life in whatever circumstance. For beauty and life are in the simple things, the smell of morning coffee, the warmth of the sun,a word that touches your heart. This is as the author says"the task to accept the joys of the simple acts."
This is a very short love story with conflict. The description of their meeting and the old piano playing is beautifully word painted. The ending is sad but! I think he can catch the bus at the next stop!
An inspirational story of the difference one person can make in a person's life when they are willing to look beyond the"norm" and give a person a chance to fit in and become a part of society.
A litttle edit would help this piece. Read each sentence out loud and if it doesn't sound right change a word or two.
For ex:in the last paragraph you write: A few years later she started speaking to middle schoolers about violence and drugs and she was famous throughout the nation. That is a very broad statement. It isn't that she couldn't become famous but somehow it would sound better to say,"A few years later shestarted speaking to middle school scholars about violence and drugs and in later years would become famous throughout the nation.
This could be a very nice piece of work and inspirational to kids that may be going through the same type of experience.
A rather magical tale of a man finding an old photograph in the attic and being transported to another time, filled with vivid , beautiful, imagery of nature.
The only advice I would give is to go through this piece and tighten it up a bit.. Your descriptions are lovely but perhaps using a word too many times takes away from the story
A truly lovely poem ,beautifully described picture of a departed aunt of a friend; who as the author writes "is perfectly satisfied where she finds herself." It seems written as a gift to the friend, ending with,"I saw her fom a distance, I saw her and thought of you. Moving and inspirational.
This is a scary piece, especially in view of much we hear in the media today. Your dialogue is very well done,as is the whole story. the ending sentence is terrifying. Good writing.

This story has an interesting premise and kept my interest to the end. The ending also is excellent with a great, if not happy ending.
I think the story could use some editing.
EX:A paragraph breaks would make it easier to read. The second paragraph is very long.
Also a space between paragraphs helps.
One sentence that was not a full sentence could be corrected by saying"Born inLondon,HE ENDED up with a
full scolorship to Oxford". This is a good story.
Well constructed story of a Jewish woman in a nursing home, telling the story of her life and using bread as the innovative way of describing the various times of her life . I really enjoyed this story and could have read more.
Please stop over at my port sometime.
The author introduces us to Shelly, Johnny,Kathy and Miss Paula in this sweet, poignant poem of growing old, She asks us to realize that these people {as we all will be} are forgetful, lonely, and may be seemingly unaware but yet do understand what is being said an'"cry real human tears".
A lovely, meaningfull poem written to tell of her belief in the "man" she has found in deepest prayer
Beautiful testimony to Jesus, the man on the cross.
This short spiritual, fantasy story is beautifully written from its beginning sentence "I have a dream"to the ending sentence which is also "I have a dream". The in between is the tale of struggles that occur and the desperation, finally waking up to meet a man who says He has a dream. Is this another world? A reincarnation of Martin Luther King? or just infinite hope for the future. Keeps one guessing but I think one must make their own decision.
To me this small piece seems familier in that I think all of us at times when looking at the sky and the moon are awed by the beauty and the majesty and as the author so aptly puts it begins to "wander".
Having watched many political speeches etc. the past few weeks, I am inclined to agree with you as I'm sure would many others.
So many speeches, so much rhetoric etc.and so forth. It's enough already!
However, if only for what we have put up with the last, almost 8 years, WE MUST VOTE for nothing can be as bad as where the present administration has landed us in the eyes of the entire world.
Having said this, I am voluntarily banning myself from further glazed starings at future promises, promises and more promise. I have decided {in my mind} who I will vote for, do so in November and pray and hope for the best.
A very telling piece about what children think, imagine, fantasize about when there parent's are
getting a divorce. Always a most difficult journey for them.
This story has a surprisingly bitter and violent outcome.Fortunately, not a common ending but one that could be imagined in todays society.
As I often say, I am not a poet and do not know in the ins and outs of the muse. What I do know however, is that this is a genuine work of heart felt writing and putting your feelings on the line.
Beautiful and keep writing.
I think this is an interesting story. It kept me reading and wanting to know what was going to happen, had good dialogue {which I always admire}.
The only thing that seemed missing was the "defining" reason of why you left.
Read this over again and now I am thinking it is because the mother was trying to get rid of you and you knew it but perhaps you could drop a hint of that earlier in the story.
Terrifyingly, realistic story concerning abuse. Both the man and wife characters ring true,as one can well imagine, does the dialouge and the fearful, victimized yet accepting worn down wife.
An unique, original tale of a man's life told through the eyes of a gardening tool, a garden fork, received on his ninth birthdy.Thi story is so well written, it's descriptions so eloquent in their simplicity that this reviewer hated it to end. Will be looking for more of this author's writing.
