The Balladeer
The Balladeer

It's not enough to tell a tale,
the Ballad must delight.
As rhythm, rhyme, and yarn asale
the senses, sound and sight.

It takes the listener start to end,
Intrigue or drama lead.
The action takes us round the bend
and love is often freed.

So should he try to emulate
the Masters gone before?
He'll write a song of love or hate
and leave you wanting more.
