| [ASR] How many moons will you pass by here? ♠♠♠♠♠ Caressed by light of a thousandth moon ♠♠♠♠♠ Caressed by light of a thousandth moon Your face waxes, Pale as pear blossoms, Lines soft and intricate as Irish lace, Fragile as those first words of love Murmurred many moons ago. Subtleties revealed by the Lady of the Night Now burnt away by the Dawn Fire arising in the east And the ardor soaring in your heart. Kåre Enga Note: We record our age by the Sun, the keeper of the days and years. Why not the Moon! The keeper of the night and months? As we grow older, moonlight is soooo much kinder. 1000 moons = c. 77 years. |
