End of the Rainbow

I found the end of the rainbow
No pot of gold, but a promise kept
Nevermore to flood all the earth at once
God’s promise still remains true.

I found the end of the rainbow
Treasure to be found for sure
Not like something you can hold
Yet so much better than that.

I found the end of the rainbow
A rare sight to see in any land
Giving a new hope for tomorrow
To make the struggle worth it.

I saw the end of the rainbow
After a winter’s day of rain
A sign from the Almighty
That hope endures forever.

I found the end of the rainbow
No pot of gold, but a promise kept
Nevermore to flood all the earth at once
God’s promise remains true.
