contains some of my present and past poetry. |
| Bits of Paradise The din of traffic dissolves In the twilight burst of clouds We run for the sheltering trees My heart thrills at our linked hands. The valley below Sheathed in a silver halo My soul sings a sweet solo In the swinging moonlight's glow. The song of the nightingale Conquers the silence of the hill Then it wings across the dale To serenade others to their fill. Then I hear the tinkle Of her anklet bells See the celestial twinkle in her lotus eyes. What lovely night! How beautifully right! I taste bit by bit of paradise Lost in the magical madness. |
