A blog devoted just to my scriptwriting. That’s all I’m going to blogging about here.

Extremely Well Done
Extremely Well Done

Right now, maybe Saturday evening for everyone else. But for me, it was very early this morning aka twelve midnight to twelve noon. That’s when I got thirty-six single paragraphs that were written for my second scriptwriting project, The Final Ritual, written aka one hundred and thirty-eight lines.

That one hundred and thirty-eight breaks down to ten single paragraphs that are five lines long, ten that are four, and sixteen three lines long. I don’t know if one hundred and thirty-eight aka thirty-six single paragraphs is good writing or not. But to me it is. It is extremely good.

What does that mean for my Story Outline for this movie? It means that this Story Outline is almost done. I only have eight five-liners, eight four-liners, and eight three-liners left to write before this Outline is finished. And I should be able to get that many written tomorrow at work.

It should take me from four to six hours to finish writing this Story Outline. That means that I will have six to eight hours left in my shift to start working on my Scene Outline. And that’s if I decided to start it tomorrow at work. I may wait until next Thursday morning to start doing it.

If I don’t start working on my Scene Outline, what am I going to do with those six to eight hours? Will I stop writing for the night or in this case day? Of course, not. I will continue writing. Only it won’t be scriptwriting. It will be my WDC Short Story for this month.

True, I could continue to work on my Water Wars scriptwriting project. And I still may do that. But I also can start working on my Short Story for this month. I still haven’t read anything about the other Short Story that I may be writing for this month. This one is the most important, though.

A few days ago, we got our prompt for this month’s WDC Short Story contest. And for the last few days, I have been thinking about the story I’m going to write for it. I have even done the ten sections/parts breakdown for this story. But I haven’t started writing the story itself just yet.

That may change after I get done with my Story Outline for this project. I may start working on it. Then again, I may continue working on my Water Wars scriptwriting project. Just haven’t decided on which one I’m going to do next. I will decide after I finish with my Story Outline.

A lot of that depends on when I get done with my Story Outline for my second scriptwriting project, The Final Ritual. If it only takes about four hours to finish, then I will have around eight hours to start working on either my Water Wars project or my Short Story for this month.

There is one other possibility. It shouldn’t happen. And I don’t think that it will. But there is a chance I won’t get these twenty-four single paragraphs finished tomorrow or if they are it will be barely finished. It shouldn’t happen this way. But it might.
