         I am thankful ...
                    ...that we will be receiving assistance with the electrical bill in 2023.
                    ...for fresh brewed hot coffee on this chilly winter morning.
                    ...that while reviewing a story on Saturday, December 10, I learned a new phrase: Idée fixe1.
                    ...for the cookie I had to go with my coffee this morning.
                    ...that " I Give Thanks"  got honorable mention in the 2022 edition of the "Thankful Poetry Contest" .
