| Saint of Ireland Color green reminds me Of saint Patrick of Ireland. What better symbol than The Clover for the Holy Trinity The Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost? Hail to Saint Patrick’s Day all through the world! Celebrated in joy and gay abandon Song and dance, cabbage and meat Along with the season of Lent. The green dyed Chicago River Flows with the spirit of Irish unity Beware of cranky leprechauns Cobblers for the angelic kind Out in the world with mischievous magic. Lines:14 Words:82 Prompt-1 St. Patrick’s Day. Written for Poetry Topic of the Month Contest hosted by Valentine Shay~Shay Sharmelle |
