On the second Thankful Thursday in 2023, I am grateful for the awardicon I received for the Grand Prize in Journalistic Intentions. And the merit badge I received, on 1/11/23, for my winning Holiday Handle in the Witches Garden.

I am thankful that the second week of January 2023, began on a good note. I was able to attend the Feast of Sharaf (Honor) at the Baha'i Center in Las Vegas on Sunday, January 8. Met a couple I hadn't seem in several years. I also met a lady who I had only seen on Zoom. It was a wonderful feast and I hope to attend the next feast later this month.

I am also thankful that my poem "Fountain of Youth"  was featured in "Fantasy Newsletter (January 11, 2023)" . It has been a while since I wrote the poem, so, of course, I had to go back and reread it.

I am thankful that my neither my Bank of America checking account nor saving account are overdrawn today.

I am thankful for the chocolate covered mini doughnuts and the orange I had with my morning coffee.
