A3 - Boundaries

Brenda turned to look at Evie beside her on the couch. She loved her perfect caramel skin it was so soft. Impulsively Brenda stroked Evie's arm with her fingertips. Evie turned her focus from the media screen. She raised an eyebrow.

"I'm sorry is that okay? I mean to randomly touch you?"

Evie questioning face softened, "Yes, it was actually lovely. I don't mind if you touch me. I like it."

Brenda shrugged, "I just wasn't sure where we stood on that. I mean we haven't... Actually done anything."

"We might not have done 'everything' but I feel like we've experienced enough of each other that it shouldn't be an issue. Am I wrong? Does it bother you when I touch you?"

"No I enjoy it, it especially helps when I have had a bad day."

"Then I don't know what the issue is." Evie said

Brenda looked down at her hands. "I really haven't ever been particularly physical with anyone. In highschool I was the boyish ginger girl, too tall and too flat for the guys to really care about. You really are the first person that has shown this interest in me. When I overheard your memory of your dream about me it was eye opening."

"It's a shame we've never gotten that far in reality. We're just jinxed. Every time we start getting somewhere, work calls. And your job is life or death for whole worlds."

"I've actually talked to Mae and a couple of former Chief Factors how they managed intimacy. They told me it was a matter of priorities, and reminded me that we could cheat time to get an uninterrupted span of time."

"Would you cheat on time for me?"

Brenda looked Evie in the eyes. "I would but wouldn't that remove the spontaneity?"

"You plan dates don't you? You have to set aside time for them..."

Brenda blinked. She reached out a hand to caress Evie's cheek. "Tomorrow night?"

Evie smiled slyly, "What about tonight? You come back to the moment after the emergency call after dealing with it and resting a bit. It wouldn't do if you were previously exhausted."

"So we fool around until the call comes and then... What if the call doesn't come this time?"

"More's the better. Either way we find out more about each other."

Brenda's hand dropped to Evie's breast. "Could I invite you to my bedroom?"

"You've only had to ask."

Assignment #3
One of your characters is curious about the other regarding the bedroom. Is it how far they've gone? Could it be that they are aware their significant other was once dominant or submissive? Whatever you choose to be the one thing your character is curious about sexually, showcase that. This doesn’t have to be a completed piece. Getting your characters to explore this aspect through a conversation or by taking matters further is up to you. 800 words max. Switch back to the partner's POV. Really get into their head, and use as many senses as possible. Dialog can be sexy as well, use it, but try to stay away from foul language. Remember we are going to the sensual side of erotica.
