This is a blessed spot, spoilt only by the people, in the central North Island of NZ. |
| Easter is behind us as is ANZAC day. We are now in late Autumn and temperatures have dropped plus we already had one frost. Days hover around 15C. My right hip is failing and recently I had an appointment with Orthopaedic Department. The outcome was positive and I suppose you could say my big toe is now on whatever passes for a waiting list. It is a start at least toward a hip replacement. Our Coalition government, lemming like, lurches from crisis to crisis and is making bad decisions. They try to please everyone and achieve the opposite. Pay equity, banning under 16s from social media, the list goes on and on. I dread the return of Labour the 'micro-manage' party at elections in 2026.On the bright side we have plenty of firewood for the cold months ahead. God bless. |
