Sept 13 - Reality Bites

Prompt: Have you seen Law & Order? Is this show part of your weekly viewing? How do you feel about the format always being the same? Do you find it tedious or satisfying that you know what's coming next? If you're not a fan what prime-time dramas do you enjoy if any?

Weekly viewing?!? I'm fully invested in Netflix and binging. I may have also spent many hours sourcing stuff on Limewire, back in the day. It had to be a VERY good show to make me watch it weekly.

I don't like reality, it's bad enough I have to live in it, why would I subject myself to weekly viewing of a police procedural, where I get to watch the very worse of humanity... That's what the news is for.

I am more of a Buffy the Vampire, Farscape, Smallville and Roswell kind of gal.... Those were my weekly viewing growing up. That eventually advanced to the Walking Dead, Grimm, Supernatural, Once Upon a Time, and many, many DC universes. Oooo LOST. I don't mind that they follow the same format each week - they usually had an overarching arc per season to keep story moving. Spoiler - The Walking Dead had walkers each week and the people they met were 99% sure to be bad guys.

I'm also a BIG Trekkie. Apart from Deep space nine... not a fan... but the rest, I will happily binge and waste hours at a time watching. I'm a rare breed I like Space Magic and Space Science - so also big fan of Baby Yoda and Mando.

I have watched Law & Order and SVU, and Criminal Minds... I've also watched Greys and some firehouse ones... Criminal Minds and 24 were probably my favourite.... But I prefer Wednesday.
