Halloween

Yes, the leaves fell faster
thaen I imagined
but it is October after all.
Sometimes you need broken magick:
a nest of fog
a ghost cat
drag queen pumpkins.
The news from real life
is hard and horrible.
My Halloween spell
will carry on the breeze,
Enchantment for everyone.
