Finally Rosie has a partner

Haven't really had time to think today at work,
it's been so busy,
everybody's running around trying to get everything for Xmas,
I'm so pleased I've got everything I need,

Alessia and Catherine are full of the joys of Xmas and no doubt each other, it's so pleasing to see them both so happy, in fact their happiness is wearing off on me,
I just think we're all just excited about having time off work and letting our hair down over the holiday,

It was a nice surprise when we finished work,
Rosie was waiting outside for us arm in arm with a girl,
My face just filled with a huge smile,
At long last she'd got a girlfriend,
We were all introduced to Louise and headed off to the pub,

I was concerned about getting home and Lisa,
and even worse if Melissa was cooking dinner, but I was reassured that Melissa was Ok as long as we were back by 7:30pm with a fish and chip supper,

We had a lovely time with a few drinks getting to know Louise before going home to have supper,
Melissa fussed over Louise,
I think she also thought the final piece of the jigsaw was complete and Rosie finally had found someone,

After supper we settled down for a few social drinks,
I think Catherine was a little relieved as someone else was getting all the attention, as long as jealousy didn't set in and cause friction but I think things would be fine,

I had a few private moments in the kitchen with Lisa and as she was pouring a drink she started crying,
Asking what was wrong she told me they were happy tears and was so happy for Rosie,
Mainly because Rosie would have someone to cuddle up with in bed and not be on her own over Christmas.

I thought as tomorrow was Xmas Eve and would be busy at work we should have an early night especially as the festivities would really get under way tomorrow evening and I knew how much Melissa liked to party.
