Perfectly imperfect

He is a perfect gentleman.
And he achieved the perfect crime.
He left no clues, followed no rules.
It was a unique plan although embarrassing
to his countrymen and his mistress, for she was part of the big plan.
It was on foreign soil that he planned the worst kind of murder you can think of.

His spies were ideal expert workers on using
methods like sabotage and poisoning.
The worst thing he got done was to serve the enemy with a poisoned headless chicken
with all the spices occupying the space in its
emptied stomach,  on the last day of his life.
He enjoyed it nevertheless, the way it was meant to.
Ignorance is Bliss!

After the horror of discovering the dead body
in her chamber, his wife exclaimed
“What nonsense!” it was supposed to have occurred
elsewhere in another part of the city.
who carried the cadaver there?
Did it fly from Moscow to Maine?
