Lisa's still in a Sulk

On the way home last night the girls were hoping there was calm in the house,
They were also taking the Micky out of me asking if I was looking forward to seeing sulky face Lisa,
I think the three of us were worried what the atmosphere would be like,

I don't really know why we were worried because we'd not done anything wrong,
It was Melissa and would she still be on the warpath,
Melissa was in the kitchen in a slight mood because we were late home
Before we sorted ourselves out she explained she'd had words before Lisa went to work and she's back home but still in a sulk,

Myself and the girls washed up before dinner,
Melissa gave me a covered plate to take round for Lisa, she was sat in the front room watching TV and I gave her her dinner,
"Thank you",
"How are you?",
There was silence,
"Ok Lisa I'm not going to try and make you talk I'm going for my dinner before it gets cold",

I sat next to Emma, she put her hand on my leg and she kissed me on the cheek,
"And you two behave",
Melissa had spoken,
The girls were quiet giving each other glances scared not to say anything in case it set Melissa off,
"Melissa",
"Yes Susie",
"What am I going to do with her",
"I don't care, you know, She called me an interfering old bitch this morning",
"Oh no, I'm sorry",
"Don't be sorry Susie, if she wants to come into this house again she'll have to do it on her knees and beg",

We all sat there eating our dinner in silence,
When we'd finished I told Melissa to sit down in the big chair and relax, I took her a glass of wine then had all the girls do the washing up and tidy before we sat down with a drink,
The girls slowly started chatting amongst themselves and things started getting back to normal,

Melissa got up and poured another drink,
"You know something girls I'm going to have a few of these tonight, put some music on Alessi",
In a split second the mood had changed in the room,
I headed off into the garden with Emma close behind,
"Do you want me tonight Susie",
"I'd like too but under the circumstances I think it's better not too",
"Well we'll see how things are later",
"Ok",

It became time for me to go home,
Emma was a little upset because we'd not had it off but there was plenty of time for that,
Lisa was already in bed when I returned,
I undressed and put on my nightie,
I cuddled up to her and at least wasn't rejected but she wouldn't talk to me,
She also wouldn't allow me any advances,
I was wishing I'd had Emma now,

This morning I again got the silent treatment,
Round at Melissa's she just told me to not fuss over her,
I felt relief as we traveled to work,
Alessia and Catherine were both really happy,
I bumped into Colette first thing and was given the usual hug and kiss,
We arranged to meet for lunch,

Colette met me in the canteen dead on time and we sat chatting,
I got a surprise as my old manager Donna came to sit with us,
"I hear there's congratulations for you becoming the clothing department Manageress",
"Yes, Thank you, but it's not confirmed yet",
"Oh believe me it is",
"Definitely?",
"Yes there's just a few things to iron out and the jobs yours, I knew you'd go far Susie",

Alessia and Catherine came and joined us,
Donna wished me all the best and she'd see me soon,
"Another lunch break with Colette Susie, tut,tut",
"Oh leave it out Alessia",
"You'll get tongues wagging",
"Alessia",
"And Lisa's sulking",
"We're going back to work",
"Yeah work on Colette more like, hehe",
"See you later",

In the clothing department Colette and I got to work,
We'd become a good team and I was learning the ropes very well with Colette's help,
Because we worked hard it gave us some time to ourselves, we didn't have to worry about getting things done,
The lovely Colette put on the kettle for some tea,

She brought me my tea,
"Susie so what happens at these parties you have?",
I told her we often dress up and Valentine's Day was going to be, 'St Trinians school girls',
"So if I come I'll have to be a school girl?",
"You are coming aren't you?",
"Yes"
"Well it'll be short skirts, high heels, stockings and suspenders,
Blouse and tie",
"Sounds exciting",
"It is",

I could see Colette was thinking and was excited,
"And what about the games?",
"That's where it gets naughty",
"What do you play?",
"Bottle spinning strip, Twister, Blindfold strip'Tig',
"What and we get naked?",
"Yes",
"hehe, will you be naked?",
"Yes",
"mmmm, that I can't wait to see",
"Colette",
"Well it sounds fun",

With the comments Colette was saying she was getting me excited,
"So who'll be there",
"Everyone you know from the weekend and Heather and Sarah are coming to stay",
"So it's all girls?, Well",
"You mean me don't you?",
"Yes, sorry",
"It's Ok, I'm used to it",

After what was happening at home with Lisa I just hoped Melissa would still allow Colette to attend,
"Colette",
"Yes",
"There's one other thing that Melissa does, she puts our names in a hat and pulls two names out, the two names drawn have to perform for the other girls on the rug",
"What you mean they do 'it' in front of everyone?",
"Yes, so it could be you",
"Oh Wow, and it could be you?",
"Yes",
"OMG, hehe,It could be me and you",
"Yes",
"WOW",

I Hadn't really thought about the possibility of Colette and myself being on the rug together,
And the thing was she seemed quite excited about the possibility,
I started to sort out some stock to get our minds off our discussion,
Colette seemed to be a lot happier than usual,
I knew what she was thinking but kept quiet talking about the party,

I had to get back to my office and leave Colette,
She put her arms around me and kissed my cheek,
"I'll see you tomorrow",
"Yeah see you Susie",
I was thinking walking back to the office Colette hugged me slightly longer than usual,
I liked her a lot but hoped she wasn't starting to come on to me, I had enough on my plate as it was,

Once again I'm sat in the office with Catherine waiting for Alessia,
I'm getting sick of this extra time she's having to work and so is Catherine,
I'm going to see about it tomorrow,
If they're short staffed they need to employ someone else,

This hanging around just makes me anxious about going home thinking about what the evening might have in store.
