It Should Have Been More

My brother and I were very busy today, taking two loads over to our new place, which we are moving to this month, but I still had plenty of time to work on my latest WDC Short Story today. At least I thought I did. After all, I had about five hours to work on this project.

That should have been more than enough time to do at least two more Sections/Parts for this WDC Short Story. Why wasn’t there enough time? That’s a good question. Unfortunately, I don’t have the answer to that because I don’t know why I didn’t have the time to write more than one Part/section today.

Well, that isn’t exactly true. I do know why I didn’t get more than one Section/Part written today on my WDC Short Story for this month. It’s because I have been feeling weak and tired all day, especially the tired part of it. Why have I been feeling so weak and tired today?

It can’t be from the lack of sleep last night. After all, I got about seven hours of sleep last night. That should have been more than enough sleep for me not to be so weak and tired today. If it’s not because of a lack of sleep, then why have I felt so weak and tired today?

I don’t know the answer to that question because I don’t know why I have been feeling so weak and tired today. The only thing I can think of as to the reason why is that I’m coming down with another cold. Is that the reason why I have been feeling so weak and tired today?

I’m hoping that isn’t the reason why. After all, I return to work tomorrow for my first of two twelve-hour shifts this weekend, and I’m not allowed to get sick like everyone else can. Well, that isn’t exactly true. I can get sick. I’m just not allowed to get out of work because of it.

What does all this weakness and tiredness mean for this WDC Short Story? It means I still have seven more Parts/Sections to write before I’m finished writing this WDC Short Story. It should have been six Sections/Parts, though. After all, I could have gotten one more Part/Section written today.

I don’t know if I could have gotten all of Section/Part Four written for this WDC Short Story written today, but I could have gotten some of it written. Why didn’t I get it written, or at least part of it written, today? It wasn’t because of my weakness and tiredness that I felt all day.

It’s because I didn’t know how to get this Part/Section started. After all, this part starts almost a thousand years after the ending of the third Section/Part of this WDC Short Story. Unfortunately, I still don’t know how I will start it, but I will before I return to work tomorrow.

Will I get the chance to write this fourth Part/Section tomorrow before I return to work tomorrow at six PM WDC time? It’s possible I could get this Section/Part written early tomorrow afternoon. After all, I usually have a few hours to devote to my writing before I return there.
