“Machiavellian” is derived for the reason which he validated in his book “The Prince,” that a leader or a state should if necessary, maintain evil means to stay in power. Ends justify means, he argues. Rather shocking, but it seems true judging from what is happening in different countries of the present age.

At the end of the final year of my B.A classes, it was exciting to write the exams. I felt as though it was the end of the party. I never knew it would be a new beginning to another stage in my life. I felt more mature and presumably more considerate and less impulsive.

Soon it was finally, time to say goodbye to college and hello to the University. I mean to my alma mater, The Andhra University, located in my own hometown, Visakhapatnam in the State of Andhra Pradesh in India, that is Bharat.

Admissions into the M.A. classes were allotted based on the aggregate of the marks obtained in the final exams at the end of the B.A. class. More was the advantage if one gets good grades in the optional subjects apart from General English and Second Language.

Our GPA represents academic performance based on a 10 point scale rather than the 4 point scale as used in the US.
Mine was 7 which means just good or B+.

All I was looking forward was to be eligible to get admitted into the Post-Graduation classes. My wish was fulfilled, when I received the admission into the M.A class. Fortunately, my parents encouraged higher education for girls and they thought girls deserve it as much as the opposite gender.

I must confess here, that many parents would like their daughters to get married as soon as they attain Bachelor’s degree. All they wanted was
