Almost Like Last Monday
Almost Like Last Monday

Unfortunately, today is almost like last Monday. Last Monday, I didn’t have too much time to work on my WDC Short Story for this month because of working all night on my second twelve-hour shift a week ago on the weekend. Today was almost like last Monday because of my working all night on my second twelve-hour shift last weekend.

That’s the only thing that’s the same from last Monday. Well, that isn’t exactly true. The fact that I needed to get some sleep today because of my second twelve-hour shift last weekend is also the same, but it’s always the same on a Monday. I always need to get some sleep before I can do anything on a Monday, which includes any writing.

It’s hard to believe, but today is worse than last Monday. After all, last Monday I did have a few hours to work on my WDC Short Story, but today I didn’t have any time to work on it. Most of the reason that I didn’t have any time to work on my WDC Short Story is because of needing sleep, but it’s not the only reason why. It was also because of me.

As I have pointed out numerous times during the last week of blog entries, my brother and I are moving into a new place this month. Because of this move, I’m very limited on the amount of time I have to devote to my writing. Last Monday, I had a few hours to devote to it, but today I didn’t have any time to get any more writing done on this Short Story.

Unfortunately, I’m not quite done with this WDC Short Story. Like the first twelve-hour shift last weekend, I only got three Sections/Parts written for this WDC Short Story. I needed four Parts/Sections to finish writing it. That means I still have one more Section/Part left to write. If it were like last Monday, I would have gotten it finished today.

It also means that I won’t be able to finish writing it until tomorrow at the earliest. The only problem is, will I have the time to work on it tomorrow? I know that my brother and I have a few things we need to do tomorrow besides moving into our new place, but I don’t know how long it will take us to accomplish what we need to do tomorrow.

Hopefully, it won’t take us the whole day to accomplish what we need to get done tomorrow. All I need is a few more hours, and I will get this WDC Short Story written for this month. Will I get those few hours that I need to finish writing this WDC Short Story? Unfortunately, I don’t have the answer to that question yet.

I know this WDC Short Story isn’t very good. It may even be the worst Short Story I have ever written since I started using Grammarly. Why do I feel this way about this Short Story? It’s because I was right. The Gothic genre isn’t my kind of writing. Why do I write that? Especially, since it’s a Science Fiction Short Story, and a Horror Short Story.

What makes this different than my other Science Fiction short stories? It’s the advancement of my other Science Fiction short stories, scriptwriting, etc. Almost all of my Science Fiction stories are set in the more advanced autosphere. That isn’t true with this Science Fiction Short Story. This one is more of a primitive Science Fiction Short Story.
