Almost Like Last Friday

Today was almost like last week when it comes to my second Short Story for this month. It was a little bit better than last week, though. If I remember correctly, I only got one Section/Part written for my WDC Short Story for this month. This week, I got two Parts/Sections written for my second Short Story this month.

I may have gotten two Sections/Parts written for my WDC Short Story last Friday. My brother and I have been very busy this month with us moving to a new place. It’s hard for me to remember what I got written without looking it up in my blog entries or my blog entry documents. I may have gotten two Parts/Sections, but it’s unlikely that I got more than that.

Unfortunately, today was very busy for my brother and I. we didn’t have a lot to do today besides moving, but we did have something that we needed to get done besides us moving. As a result, I only had a few hours this afternoon and early evening to work on this second Short Story for this month. Timing isn’t the only factor for today, though.

Of course, how many hours I had to work on this second Short Story for this month, and why I only had a few hours to work on it today, but it wasn’t the only reason for me not getting any more writing done today. I also had a lack of sleep last night. After all, I didn’t get too much sleep last night. If I were lucky, I got about five hours of sleep last night.

I have also been feeling very weak and tired all day. Some of that may be because of the lack of sleep, but most of it, I think, is because I’m fighting another cold and losing. The weather today wasn’t too bad, but it was still a little bit on the nippy side. As a result, it made me feel weak and tired all day. I’m sure it also affected my writing.

What does all this have to do with my second Short Story for this month? It means that I still have seven more Sections/Parts left until I finish writing this Short Story. If I’m lucky, I may get another one written tomorrow before I return to work at six PM WDC. That’s a big if, if it’s anything like last Saturday when I couldn’t get anymore writing done.

It’s up in the air whether I get any more Parts/Sections written for this second Short Story this month. In my past, I have had a few hours before I return to work on a Saturday to get some writing done, but the last few Saturdays, I haven’t been able to do that. Hopefully, tomorrow won’t be one of those Saturdays. At least I hope that it isn’t.

Whether it’s six or seven Sections/parts, the big question is, will I get them done during my first twelve-hour shift this weekend? If it’s anything like last weekend, I may be lucky if I get it written by the end of my second twelve-hour shift this weekend. I think that I can do it. After all, this is a pure Science Fiction story that I’m writing.
