Hurried Poet
The Daily Poem I would do,
and hurried I'm 'til all is through.
Many items on the list
perfect do, or the gist?

Write your poem in a rush.
Fame be yours in hurried brush.
Please, find a nightingale in bush,
but track it slow or hear the woosh.

"Hurried Poet", be thy name.
Fast your lines lead to your fame.
"When will you be quit?"
"When the words all fit!"

line count: 12
poetry form: iambic quatrains (with a few varied lines)
