My knee hurts

The staples in my knee asre rubbing against my skin and the inside of my cast. The doctor says that he put enough gauze padding in the area the last time I went to see him. But, I am here to say that he did not.

I have actually added gauze padding to the mix since my last appointment on Thursday the 20th. In all my years dealing with various doctors I have learned that doctors do not take into effect that every body is different. Although the differences are subtle it does create havoc and has for me with this my latest injury.

After my first surgery I had a major fall which the doctor seemed to dismiss but was probably what caused the pins and wire to be displaced. Unfortunately, the doctor did nottake it serious enough until I could feel the pins going through the skin and ther pain was just too much for me to bare.

The second attempt went sour probably the day of my appoinrment when he took an three x-rays of the knee. The nurse was having me stand on the knee in a certain way that caused me to put more weight on it than I should have. I unofficially blame his office for the outcome although he blamed me. Oh well, at this point I am not going to fight the matter of blame -- just as I don't blame anyone for me having cerebral palsy with an added seizure disorder.

The third attempt is this time around and he casted the leg with a hatch cut out so that he could get to the knee to take a look at it and take out the staples at the appropriate time.

All I know is this whole ordeal is frustrating me and my family because my husband has had to take on more tasks than he, as one person, can handle. Luckily my son is 7 now and my daughter is temporarily placed in daycare. We are trying to find a college student who can help us out further by doing a little housework (laundry, and light cleaning) for a small fee.

This andthe war in Iraq is causing my mental health to wreck havoc on my health. There are days that I am so overwhelmed that I just cry because I cannot take ther amount of stress on my body both mentally and physically
