My Right Patella Recovery

An update !!!

One more week...I get it off on May 22nd. That is I get my cast off next Thursday. I am looking oh so forward to getting the damn thing off. The leg is starting to get heavy from the fact that I have been doing to much lately.

I really have little choice on whether or not to do the activities as the school year is winding down. My son just got his Tiger Badge that allows him to move up to Wolf Scouts and so I had to be there for that ceremony. Two days before the school has their end of the year musical program at the auditorium. Next Friday the day after I get my cast off my son gets his end of the year awards for 1st grade.

There are also the end of the year stuff for my husband and I should go to but I am going to have to miss them because I am just too tired and bedraggled to make it to the gatherings.

This afternoon I fell in my tiny half-bathroom -- I was so tired my left leg seemed to just give way and would not hop anymore. This caused me to cut my chin thankfully not right on the face itself but underneath.
