What's happened to grammar?

Okay, my grammar is not perfect, but when I write something for public view, I try my best to have covered the basics of spelling, punctuation, subject-verb agreement, and so forth.

A number of the pieces I'm reading on hre just seem to ignore such niceties.

I realize that the ideas and creativity are more important than grammar, but the grammar is what makes the pieces readable for the rest of us.
