Rain and more rain and more rain

It seems as if we have had lots of rain this week; on two separate nights, the city streets were flooded and there were even spots around the region where cars virtually disappeared, up to their roofs in some cases, many half way up their doors.

It amazes me that some people will still try to cross deep water in their cars, even when they see other cars already stuck, stranded in deep water above the tires.

From news reports, such water damage to cars is extremely expensive to repair, if repairs are even possible.
