Yellow Rose of Friendship

I got 3 dozen of these yellow roses of friendship yesterday at work. They are so lovely. And just what I needed. When I called to say "Thank you" I was told that they don't compare to me. I've been given roses before- pink, yellow with red tips, white- but yellow. Pure, vibrant, yellow roses- they only have ever come from my mom. It is something that she and I do, because she and her mother did. And that touches me.....and the person who did this knew that I needed that. Awesome. It touched me, and humbled me.

And made me feel beautiful. And anyone who has been where I am now....well, you know how hard it is to feel beautiful- do you not?

Anyway- yeah. Hope all is well elsewhere- mid terms next week- I may be scarce. But then I may ramble about bio chem in here too.....I might loose my mind. LOL
