Destiny's Witness
Destiny's Witness

Destiny rides a battered mare
Through wind and rain and time
Persistent journey never ends
Sacrificed to poet's rhyme

Destiny leaves a bitter taste
So fate may have a laugh
Here lies a writer yet unknown
Witness scribbled epitath

Destiny travels far and near
To Dublin's distant shore
Share a Guiness, find new friendship
Storied authors' ancient lore
