Revenge on his mind, it was decided he would embellish on what had been observed by he and Gray Cloud. Sha, Blazing Star would lose more than anticipated, he thought, putting his diabolical scheme into full motion.
Her loathing for all Indians due to what the Apaches had done to her family years ago prevented Kristy from hearing Trent's words that all men should be merited for worthiness, not the color of their skin. Never would she accept her husband's ideals as being realistic.
