It's taken a while...

It's taken a long time, but I feel that I've succeeded in my goal to write more daily.  In my personal files, I've got about four text documents of notes running over ten-thousand lines each.  I attribute some of this to the text editor, VIM; and a software package called 'Docutils' which allows me to write text documents in 'reStructured' text.  This format allows me to turn the simple text files into very nice looking HTML or PDF files.  I realize now that formatting and writing should be kept separate!
