It's officially off and running. I'm particularly excited about this activity; I love the single-elimination format, and the different types of writing will be fun to judge. Man, I wish I could compete too! I'll be interested to hear from those of you who are participating how you're liking it... it's definitely something different than I've seen anywhere else. I guess whether it'll be a success or failure remains to be seen.
