A blog of no uncertain musings. What goes on in my mind is often a source of wonder to me. |
Seems like work is going to keep me from spending as much time here as I would love. Still, that's how life goes. Right? One has to make a living. I really love what I do--I make things out of wood made to order for clients (cabinets, bookcases, you-name-it). Been doing it fairly successfully for more than 18 years. But I also love writing ... and sometimes that woodworking does interfere with that. ![]() On my "work" side, I'll be out of town all next week at a woodworking trade show in Charlotte, NC ... and looking forward to it. Seeing new equipment and techniques is always great. And if I find a new "toy" I just can't live without, so much the better. This show also has the added benefit of individual class seminars on different topics that will hopefully position me for wicked growth in my business. ![]() The break from trying to catch up on lost time from the nasty weather of the past couple weeks will be very welcome. And on the "writing" side, I was very fortunate once again to take a Second Place in the 2011 "Dear Me: Official WDC Contest" ![]()
![]() ![]() I continue to expand my horizons with the "Poetic Exploration" ![]() ![]() Well, time to complete some last minute planning for my upcoming trip. Thanks for stopping by. |
