A blog of no uncertain musings. What goes on in my mind is often a source of wonder to me.

Happy Thanksgiving!
THANKSGIVING!

A holiday primarily celebrated in the United States and Canada, Thanksgiving in some form is observed in other areas of the world as well.  In America, Thanksgiving traces its roots loosely to 1621 Plymouth in Massachusetts.  Religious and secular leaders since have proclaimed this and declared that resulting in the formal U.S. holiday we now celebrate.

No matter what the reasons that led our leaders to establish Thanksgiving on the fourth Thursday in November, we should remember the reason to celebrate Thanksgiving is to remember and give thanks for the blessings, life, family and friends we have.  To that I add:

Lord, thank you for all the joys and blessings, and trials and tribulations You've given me in my life.  In all ways, I consider myself truly blessed, and I pray everyone who reads this feels the same.  Every experience I've had makes me who I am, looking forward to living each day fully, hopefully wiser from my mistakes, and eager to embrace what the future has to offer.
