I firmly believe we are the captains of our own destiny. For one thing, I am a Christian so therefore I believe our final destiny is a choice each of us make while living on this Earth. Even if I weren't Christian however I could still argue that we are the captains of our own destiny because every action I take today determines who or what I will become in the future. I don't believe anything in life happens by accident. Everything that happens to me happens as a direct result of my actions.  |
