Poems that pursue the horizon from past to present and poems created for NaPoWriMo 2017 |
Beginning, middle, and end If one never starts, one never ends Dig for reserves, progress tough; In the middle, the going gets rough. Midway through August’s poem, Wondering if I’ll finish this tome. Inspiration courses slow; What topic to pen with words of woe? No beginning nor ending - Stuck in the middle doubting again. Topic, rhyme or stress meter - Where’s my inspiring muse? I need her! Missing- one middle muse tweaker! ____________________________________________ Entry: April 19, 2017 Prompt:In the middle of something, or somewhere For: Dew Drop Inn Poetry Workshop Form: Quatrain, stanzaic, with closing cinquain Syllabic Pattern: 7-9-7-9 Rhyme Pattern: aabb, etc.; aabbb Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words.~~Robert Frost |
