The Bride's Ensemble Her something old was his Grandmother' gold bracelet that he placed on her wrist: to assure continuity through out their married life. He something new was the pink silk handkerchief that she placed between her breast: to ensure optimism and hope throughout their married life. He something borrowed was the copper coin that her Mother taped face up in her shoe: to guarantee good fortune and happiness throughout their married life.
