October 8 is the second Monday of October, which makes it National Kick Butt Day ![]() ![]() I started the day off properly, with the exception of leaving the light on in the bathroom. That doesn't sound like a big deal, but, right now, there are three people in this apartment. A light on in the bathroom meas it is in use. To get back to the subject of kicking butt, as I said, I started the morning off right. I took my thyroid tablet, I chanted the Greatest Name, and I put the coffee on to brew. After the coffee brewed, I poured myself a cup, put an International Delight Reese's Peanut Buttercup creamer in it, and got myself three chocolate covered tiny doughnuts for my first breakfast. What am I going to do to kick ass today? Remember to turn the bathroom light out when I'm leave that room. I've already posted this weeks goals on "Weekly Goals" ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Weather Note: I just stepped out the front door, look up at The Mountain (Mount Charleston), and saw snow. Therefore, as far as I am concerned, it is officially winter in Las Vegas. Snow on Mount Charleston means cold in Las Vegas. Some people might call it cool, or brisk, those people are not good judges of weather in the desert. Any time there is snow on The Mountain the air gets colder in the valley. This means that anyone with any type of arthritis feels the pain and stiffness. |
