Dawn Whispers As night flees across the land, Dawn whispers its song to the seeker, Extolling the beauty of day, In shades of pink and lavender. In tones of blue and gray, Dawn whispers its song to the seeker, Changing of its noonday splendor, In shades of pink and lavender. In scales of the spectrum, Dawn whispers its song to the seeker, Expounding the grandeur of God, In shades of pink and lavender. Accompanies by the pipes of morning, Dawn whispers its song to the seeker, Intoning the glory of day, In shades of pink and lavender. In chords of the rainbow, Dawn whispers its song to the seeker, Espousing the joy of living, In shades of pink and lavender. Poet's Note: ▶︎ |
