Contemplating the Creation of the Universe I sing of silence! The uninformed silence before the word was spoken, before the characters were joined together, and link inseparably to the act. This is the song of precreation. of unformed, unchaotic, unexpressive, lonely nonexistence. This is that soul rending silence that proceeded the primordial atom, that proceeded God's spoken invocation, which generated creation's melody. God-- the uncreated, unknowable, preexistent-- pondered the lonely silence, pondered the nothingness of precreation, of nonexistence. God breath His spirit across the panorama of nonexistence, knitted together the B and E of creation, and spoke the word that generated material reality. BE shattered the silence condensed out of nothingness the primordial atom, and reverberated through its body instilled energy into the elements of material reality, generating creation's symphony.
