Avenues of Escape

Avenues of Escape

I know
there must be many avenues of escape,
many solutions to the problem.

There are always several solutions,
several roads out of a situation,
but I can't seem to find them.

I'm in the middle
of one of life's biggest test,
and I can't see any avenues of escape.

I've always
been able to find multiple solutions
to a problem,
myriad avenues of escape,
but now I can see none.

What am I doing different?

The last time
I was faced with a problem this big,
I said prayers.

Am I saying prayers?
No!
I am focusing on the problem,
not the solution.

There are always
multiple solutions,
and in order to find them
spiritual assistance is needed.
