Winter Carnival

-3 degrees C
is not my cup of tea!

I prefer setting in front of an indoor fire
sipping a venti cup of hot chocolate,
with real whipped cream,
and discussing the weather--
in the South Pacific--
with Robert Waltz
(Yes, I know Robert isn't from the South Pacific;
however, that minor detail shouldn't keep us
from discussing the weather in that area of the planet.)

I am not a snow person,
I am no longer winter's child,
I am a senior citizen,
of the spring or possibly the fall
(if it isn't too cold);
snow rafting sounds like a Winter Olympic sport
that I would watch on television.
