If I Had My Way

If I had my way
each religion would accept
all other religions a valid.

If I had my way
the entire planet
would follow a single calendar.

If I had my way
all public prayers
would be interdenominational.

If I had my way
the calendar would be based
on a solar day.

If I had my way
no one,
whether animal or human,
would be homeless.

If I had my way
each person would memorize
a poem, scripture verse, or prayer.

If I had my way
all scientific discoveries
would help humanity.

If I had may way
days and months
would be named for
divine attributes.

If I had my way
there would be a job
for everyone who desired to work.
