Day 13: Blues Traveler - The Gunfighter

In early March of 05' I discovered this album. I remember right where I was, I had downloaded it to my .mp3 player the night before. I enjoyed Four when it came out, but it have several cuts that had been overplayed, so I went back to their discography and started at the beginning. Their first album is terrific, but the second and third, not so much. However, I kept them in my player to see if they'd grow on me.

They really didn't, and that morning I listened to Straight On till Morning for the first time, even though it had come out eight years prior. I was waiting on a train to go to San Francisco, my first real visit, and it was a big part of the background on what was a great trip.

I selected this song, because I just love the refrain, which never changes... even at the end.
