Oh Thou Mercy of the All-Merciful,
in the exquisite light of dawn
I contemplate the night
you proclaimed your revelation
to Mullá Husayn Bushrú’í1.

Oh Thou Grace of the All-Gracious,
I cannot imagine
the joyful awestruck elation
the Bábu’l-Báb2
on that wonderful night
of your declaration.
