The World Needs Poets1

Poets are necessary
to the sanity of humanity,
without poets
the world would be colorless,
hope would not exists,
and we would not know
the passion of a rose.

          ...that my Bank of America checking account is not overdrawn today.
          ...for fresh brewed hot coffee to drink with m y morning writing.
          ...that "Childhood"  won this months "Stormy's poetry newsletter & contest" .
          ...for homemade fruit salad.
